I like to believe I mostly talk about video games but, really, I just tweet whatever shite pops into my head at the time. He/Him 🏳️‍🌈

First game of 2025 complete.
Finished Emio: The Smiling Man. I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as most. It's a slow burn and takes a while to get moving. But the story is engaging enough and it's nice to see Nintendo take on darker themes.
"Why would you take a Bayleef to a Rogue Mega Beedrill fight you daft wee cunt?? "

Me, if I lived in Lumiose and was paired up with these useless children.
Like 15 hours into the game, I discover ZA has an auto heal button.
I've never really thought about my top 10 movies before but I did and I guess these would probably be them.
EVERYONE TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AND PRETEND WE'RE NOT IN

An affront to Trubbish though tbf, who is legit one of my favourite Pokémon
I wish the exteriors in ZA looked as good as the interiors, they're really lovely
The Mark is taking The Traitors way too seriously, chill the fuck out
I hope we see Alan Carr a bit more on TV again after The Traitors. I've always thought he was one of the UK's most naturally funny comedians.
My god 🥵🥵
Happy birthday 😘 😘 🎂
Also, I really hope they've added things to battles that make sense to its new style. Moves or items that speed up recharging, or something that increases the size of the attacks. It's a real missed opportunity if they've just done real-time battles but not actually made use of them.
Still only about 5 or 6 hours in so still plenty time. But so far, my impressions aren't wholly positive. 'Lack of polish' is a phrase that's become a bit too synonymous with Pokémon and I do feel it here. Hopefully things turn around.
Luimose is really uninteresting. There's no soul in this town, and I've yet to find any really interesting locations. Early days I guess.
And there just doesn't feel like a whole lot to *do*. Are side missions and nighttime battling the real crux of the game?
First impressions of Legends ZA after a day - battling is kinda fun and snappy. Though feels a little lacking in strategy. It feels easier just to spam moves than bother to get out the way. Sometimes it can look alright; other times really bad, those flat buildings are such an eyesore.
Maybe I'm still too early in, but does it seem like there's just not a whole lot to do in Legends ZA. It feels like I'm just wandering about until night which feels like the main way to progress. I'm not sure how I feel about this game yet.
Why has WhatsApp started showing notifications like this? Not showing their profile picture but the Updates icon. And only sometimes. It's annoying me.
Can you change the time in Legends? I didn't fight anyone at night and now I've got to wait a whole day to get a Challenger's Ticket.
