I finally have proper snow boots for the first time in years! I also got elastic laces so I don't have to bend down to tie them, since I struggle with that, and they match!

My husband and I finally got around to building my new dresser after my old one broke. Doing so around my post-op restrictions was... interesting, but we got it done, and I'm proud of us. 🥰

You know when you're sick and blowing your nose a lot and it gets all raw and sore from the tissues? Under my nose is getting that way from the gauze. 🤕

Apparently it's normal for your whole body to hurt after surgery. Good to know I didn't just damage myself.

It's been nearly 12 hours since my surgery, and I'm doing okay. Still plenty of bleeding, but I have gauze taped under my nose for that. Still some pain, but they prescribed me the good stuff for it. Now I just have to see how sleeping propped up works out.

There are 3 chairs in this waiting room, and 4 people waiting. One guy got up when we walked in to let my husband sit with me (very nice). My husband said that the guy could have the seat. Now there are 2 people standing and 1 empty chair. Polite standoff.

Isn't it illegal to make these things retroactive? Oh wait, I forgot who we were talking about.
