Originally, from the upper midwest, I now reside in AZ. I credit my smart ass attitude to my father. My mother put up with his teasing for 59 years. He is gone, but my mother and I enjoy a close relationship despite my bad grammar and sarcasm.

It started with DOGE. A not so nice guy came in and fired our vets and federal workers. Republicans stayed quiet while DOGE ruined the lives and commitments people made to serve their government.

This admin says it's confusing. All they have to do is issue the money. Send half. Do something! Trump acts like it's his money to distribute. That's what is angering people. His admin says states have to decide who will & won't get SNAP. The states can give everyone 2 weeks for now. Send the money.

Trump can no longer say he's protecting American citizens from drugs. He just pardoned a guy who laundered money for sex traffickers and drug dealers or cartels.

Trump just pardoned a guy who was laundering money for drug dealers (cartels?). It goes against everything he's told us about blowing up boats. The guy also laundered money for sex traffickers. Republicans keep trying to hide their support for sex traffickers. But want ICE to terrorize citizens.

Rising antisemitism? It has risen. Trump had dinner with them. GOP defended Trump. Musk enabled antisemitism on X. GOP invited him into the WH. Young Reps sent messages. GOP responded, "Boys will be boys." The GOP has been screaming antisemitism from the mountain top. GOP just started caring.

This is exactly why an opposing team can't have a friendly wager with Trump. Canada could have wagered a case of real maple syrup or maple ice cream. Trump could have wagered a case of steaks or something that LA is famous for. Can't do that with the Trump administration.

I'm thinking maybe there was more truth in the Christopher Steele report than we realized. We were looking to see how it related to Trump. Maybe we should see how it is related to his donors. I'm not a conspiracy person, but I do love a good mystery. Maybe @gtconway.bsky.social can poke around.

Don't forget. Once again, Russia is involved. Epstein had several accounts at Russian banks. Since 2022, Russia has been kidnapping Ukrainian children. That should outrage every member of Congress. Nope. They're going to let victims defend themselves.

I agree. It doesn't matter what the interest rates are if people don't have the money to buy things. The economy was doing well until Republicans convinced people it was bad because prices were too high. As long as the stock market is doing well for billionaires, they don't care about the economy.
