Recording audio is harder than most people realise. Even ignoring the tech set up, simply reading what is there is not as easy as it looks. I've voiced over a few 'how to' videos and rarely do I get it on the first take.

It is bad enough having to use Amazon, made worse by having to decline their 'Try Amazon Prime free for 30 days' prompts 3 times before they accept the order.

I'm sorry, just feeling sad and I'm being a tad selfish. No one, not even me deserves customers :)

We live afloat (and love it) so don't even have space at home to put more than 1 or 2 up.

In the grand scheme of things I am warm, dry, not hungry and someone who loves me. I need to remember that.

I think it was pretty simple. You said you were going to be there at a set time - so you did. There was no way of 'getting out of it' - so once you committed, you'd committed.

Not on the same scale but there is a village somewhere (I think possibly Switzerland) that sits in a valley meaning it gets very little daylight for much of the year. The installed a big mirror array to beam light in.

Well that was fun - the macerating toilet on the boat packed up many weeks ago - resorted to using the spare porta-potti in the mean time. Just spent 3 hours removing it, taking the macerator to bits, cleaning and re-installing.

#narrowboat life eh? Wouldn't want to swap it though.
