It’s a smart deal for Lane and a good deal for the Habs. If he invests the 55 million up front in even a super conservative manner, he’ll rake in another 2.5 million/year easy, so he’s indirectly making at least 10.5-11. Meanwhile Habs protect their AAV.

Hearing that the Hawks are leaving Levshunov in the press box tonight. This brought me back to the Savard vs Wickenheiser era. Savard lit up arena dancing all over the ice giving pre-Demidov vibes. The Chicago crowd may begin to witness what they passed on!

They were rusty, but Slaf should have buried one or two. Clear cut misses!

Post game update:
Weird game last night, overall I really don’t think the score dictated the play. Most of the game the Habs were flying. If you play the same game ten nights in a row , you will win more games than you lose.
On to Detroit, if they play the same game, puck luck will even out.
