He is wearing large, square-framed glasses and bares a birthmark on the bottom of his left cheek. He has minimal facial hair on his upper lip and jawline.
The artwork is meant to be a literal visualizer on what a headache feels like for the artist, with there being messy lines on both sides of his skull - the left side being smaller than the right side. The right side has lines the erupt and splinter off. The facial expression implies that he's trying to obscure that he's feeling physical pain. The piece is mostly black and white with the occasional blue accent.

he underwent both surgeries on the afternoon/evening of janurary 8th, 2025 after our full payment was processed. he'll be medicated for around a week and will start this evening, but he's so far adjusting extremely well. i'm very proud of my little boy, and i hope that you are too.

final update: roofus is out of surgery! he's currently on my bed resting up, i can only imagine how stressful the past few days have been for him. he does hate the cone, though.

further update: his stay at the vets will likely be extended to a maximum of friday afternoon due to payment delays (it's a full payment first-surgery second kinda thing. it sucks considering the urgency of his situation, but i understand).

i miss my boy very dearly, but he's in safe, loving hands.

update: we managed to get some loans that cover roofus' surgeries! i'm super appreciative to those who shared my post around, thank you, genuinely.

roofus, one of my cats, is currently at the vet and will be undergoing enucleation and castration. it's estimated to cost upwards of $1,720 AUD. we're sorting out ways to pay it all upfront, i just want to ensure we're somewhat stable afterwards.
