actually that reminds me the 2004 filler reel in the bfi archive has a PIF for EMA (specifically the one set in a workshop) that i've been trying to find for ages
i wrote down the dialogue in case it ever shows up in a break on yt and i can Filmot it
but nice to know it at least exists

and yea it's captured from an actual tape. ive never seen an easily accessible vhs filter that looks particularly convincing
i should do more stuff like this for LCF and otherwise. i really wanna put some episodes of Andor on tape so that will def be a future project

found a charity shop using vhs tapes to stop books being pushed too far back on the shelves
took a lot of digging and probably some weird looks but i did pull out a couple of recorded blanks. i bought them

cleaned up nicely eventually but not before spewing a blizzard of ground up mold powder all over its own innards and my cleaning vcr 🤢
also put the spools in a new case and disposed of the old one
