It's stream day! And because it's also Steam Next Fest we are going to be checking out @mossflwer.live and @alienfruit.games upcoming game, as well as maybe a couple of other demos too.

I've slept ok today and have stocked up on Energy Drinks so it should be longer than 4hrs. Live in 2hrs! (3pm) :D

I’ve been wanting a 3D model of Grif for a while now, but I am so conflicted on the style.
Do I get one of the skrungly/angery Grif? Or do I get a 3D rat burger model? I feel like no matter which one I choose I’d wonder what if I had gotten the other one instead; and I really can’t just get both.

It’s such a massive step up over CyberSleuth/Hackers Memory. It truly feels like a Next Gen title.
Only a couple of hours in though, so still plenty of time to mess it up but I’m hopeful it stays great

This game is great. Imma play more of it. Stream in 3hrs time! (4pm AEDT) It's an hour later start than normal but I have stuff I need to do before that so we'll just have to make it work!

Shoutout to DemiDevilmon for being such a downbad little freak though. He's the best starter, no question.

Also the Quest headsets getting SteamLink as an easy to use app to connect to PC, rather than needing to go through the Desktop App (that was so out of date it was still 'Oculus' branded 2 years after everything else was rebranded 'Meta') was such a game changer for Quest+PC users.

While I love Quest hardware, the store ecosystem is horrific.

I can't even find my own game on the Meta Store and it's so slow. No wonder we only have 1k downloads after 2 wks

Meanwhile on Steam we had 10K+ downloads alone on wk 1

If Steam VR didn't exist, we'd actually be cooked

Sorry for the very sub-par performance and attitude on stream today.
Technical difficulties GALORE, and finishing up with spilling an entire can of energy drink on the carpet at the front of my PC pushed things over the line.
I appreciate everyone hanging out whilst we were live though. You’re great

Today has been non-stop.
Only 3hrs sleep, and only managed to squeeze in 20mins of Megabonk today; the rest of my time was spent being productive away from the computer.
- Ethernet has been routed in the bedroom
- caught up on housework
- got my dual PC setup finished and installed.

Tired rat.

Today was the first ‘hot’ day (34C) and I’m already fucking DONE with spring/summer.
I was really wanting to do some VR gaming over the next few days (picked up some cool stuff during the steam sales), but it’s rough to even consider doing anything in VR with such weather.

It was fun, and a great experience but I still have no idea if it’s gonna turn out well.
Don’t know if I completely sucked and ruined it, or if I’m just my own worst critic but I’m glad I at least gave it a shot.

Send help friends. I’m working on a project that I can’t talk about yet… but it is so far out of my comfort zone and I feel so out of my depth.

I really hope it turns out ok, and if it does it might actually see the light of day. At least it’s a learning experience if nothing else right?
