This is how I felt about the difference between HK and Silksong. In HK you are fighting Infected Zombies and in Silksong, the Haunting does not dull the skills of whatever bugs it comes into contact with. The Ghost is an untrained baby. Hornet is a WARRIOR, and her foes reflect that.

Fine. If we can't do anything *else* to the data centers, I want an Ecological Impact Tax applied to them. I want it to be *substantial*. I want the companies running these things bled dry. If they have a product that people will actually use it should be no problem, RIGHT?

See I was more captivated by the hospice care overtones. Alex having to take care of his parents, and then his classmates. A role that he is far too young to take up, yet his alternative is to let them starve and die. Despite the fact that these are no longer the people he knew. They're gone, now.
