So.. we're giving an Air Force base to Qatar. With what restrictions? What oversight? Can they just "lease" it out to, I don't know, maybe a country that is a little suspect? The felon is such a whore: give him a plane and several billion dollars and he'll give you a piece of OUR country!

At my new doctor's today for annual check-up. Told her my old doc stopped taking my Medicare supplemental insurance & now my insurance is dropping my plan altogether so I have to look for a new one. Dr. said it's going to be a challenge for many. Said it's not a good time for the medical profession.

I just followed a group of neuroscientists on this platform. I'm not a scientist. I'm not a neurologist. But my 56 year old son has Parkinson's Disease and I want to keep informed on any advances that they may discover. #neuroscience #neuroscientists

87 of Stephen King's books have been banned in the US. I find so many of his books are prescient when it comes to the state of our country, political climate & individual personalities that comprise our population. Guess that scares the powers that be. #StephenKing

I was goin to cancel my Hulu package today after I had a chance to talk to my son about how to get my local stations. Then I heard the news about Kimmel coming back & I decided to keep the package in case they pull something else that pisses me off. Then I can cancel and it will mean something.

Today on a 'neighborhood' group, someone posted about the next No Kings protest on October 18. I added the place & time. Several women thanked us & said they'd be there. The only men who responded did so sarcastically & outright hatefully. Is it gong to up to the women to save our country?

I recently heard that someone is dropping me from their life b/c they are offended by my posts on another platform about Kirk. I'm puzzled that a person who has known me for over 60 years is ready to walk away over someone they have never met & only sporadically followed for the past 2-3 years.

The Jesse Watters' reaction to Kirk's death only ramps up the crazies to inflict damage on Fox's "enemies": LGBTQ, Democrats, women, immigrants. Fox's on-air personalities need to tone it down and take responsibility for their commentary. Enough is enough!

I was rerouted on my way home from work today because there were over 30 police cars, unmarked vehicles & army trucks (plus a couple of helicopters) 2 miles from my house. I heard three extremely loud booms as I waited to be waved down a side street. I'll report as soon as I hear why.

So a federal court ruled that the felon's tariffs are illegal but gave him until October 15 to repeal them? By that time too much damage is done & his minions will think of another way to delay so basically the ruling is worthless. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with Schumer. Calls & letters have no effect. No response. Protesting isn't something they even notice. Our county executive attends our rallies, not ol' Chuck & Hakeem. We need them out of their positions. Our party's REAL leaders (AOC, Crockett) need to replace them.
