Specbio design work for my alien creatures. I don't have a name for them yet, think I'll just refer to them as "Discerners", since they've taken a vow of knowledge and their society is built around studying the world that they live in and reality altogether (as well as themselves).

On their backs are folds that contain wings that are like bug wings, that unfold when opened. The colors of the creature are brown, tan, blue, and cream. The eyes are yellow, and have nictitating membranes. The face of the animal is dog-like, but with a pointy hooked nose that looks sort of beak like. Their nose is bright blue, and their teeth are sharp and carnivorous.
