Reform can't even run Kent county council but thankfully Starmer is here to help by doing the equivalent of putting the little side barriers up on the bowling lane, making sure the infrastructure is primed and ready for the handover to the fascists.

It’s been great working with @d-j-frost.bsky.social on the third volume in our series on the history of the British far left. The volume, once again, brings together established and emerging scholars and Dan was instrumental in getting a lot of them involved in the project. It has been exciting to!
The hardback edition of our new edited book, ‘In Solidarity, Under Suspicion: The British Far Left from 1956’, is published through @manchesterup.bsky.social today!

The "deserving" are those who never ask and therefore never get, anyone who actually needs help is treated as a hostile external element within or without of society because of their crime of daring to demand what is offered, a truly hostile mockery of hospitality.

Our sense of reality is intimately entwined with our interactions with other people. What happens when those interactions are instead with social AI? See my piece on (so-called) ‘AI-induced psychosis’ in The Conversation

A beautiful essay

“AI is the symptom of a broken world. AI is the symptom; & AI is the disease…

In response to a radical outpouring of love, loss, life, grief—expressed together, embodied, on the streets—we were presented with…a technology that severs us from creative expression, dignity & truth.”
