I can't tell you how much I loathe watching couples HAVE TO do everything as a single unit and forcing one partner to conform.

If your partner likes action figures, let them FUCKING COLLECT THEM. Don't make your S/O give up their passions because you don't understand them.

GAAAH.

My response to that would have been "I'm not the one with the 1.9 GPA."
Keep asking the important questions.

Thanksgiving went well - politics did not come up. but I will mention this little data point - my mom (who drank the MAGA Kool Aid, but I AM not getting into it with an 84 year old woman who keeps hoping she'll pass quietly in her sleep) did not have nice things to day about the folks around Trump.

The Regime doesn't have a creative bone in its body. Now its cribbing from the 1989 Batman movie.

So. I can't express how badly the Regime fucked up when placid, entitled, Long Island is done with this shit.

When Long Island becomes activist - that's a tipping point. Remember, the island voted Red in 2024. This is the land of Santos and LaLota.

Blizzard's game designs suffer from this. They target a vocal minority thinking they represent the whole.

And that minority suffers from its own bias when it comes to what folks enjoy, thinking they are the norm, when they are the exception, and there IS no norm.

It's a vicious cycle.

If any of y'all see any kind of "Dudebro" flex for orthodox Christianity, send them my way. I don't need that shit in, well, the religion I maintain the most gossamer threads to - but I'll be damned if this desperate need to be validated group of modern day troglodytes are going to co-opt it.

I really hate when Blizzard makes an ambiguous, player-led, in-game narrative something definitive and "canon" in external material. I hated it with Chronicles, and I dislike it now in Blood Ties.

Blizzard - stop invalidating the payer experience.

What was Ferreira to Leavitt? A brood mare?

Putting my own spin - politics has always been corrupt. Always. But Citizens United has made this brazenly so, and set the stage for a demagogue like Trump, and his ilk, to seize power.
Now here’s the kind of news you drop going into a long holiday weekend. Maybe no one will notice. 🤡

UNCONFIRMED, but I wonder if there is a degree of plausible. Until I have concrete evidence such medications and procedures exist - I would say there are other reasons for an MRI that have far more to do with cheeseburgers and cholesterol.

So, I admit that there are certain times where a youtube's sponsor piques my interest. There was one, a device that is supposed to record your meetings and then transcribe that into notes. And I splurged.

And this thing ROCKS! Rock solid templates.

Sometimes you find gems.

So:

Afib/Recurrent Afib - 1-2 cups of coffee is safe
NASH, NAFLD - 2-4 cups of coffee + Vit E preferred.

So 2 cups of coffee should be OK. That's 16 oz.

I can only take the Vit E once I get off Eliquis.

I can't take the Vit A (osteopenia) because of the Chlorthalidone.

DOGE isn't really dead, but it is injured. Part of the credit for that belongs to my former federal colleague Chuck Borges, rhymes with gorgeous.

Chuck blew the whistle on DOGE Social Security data theft and got fired for it. Now he's running for office! Check him out: @chuckborges.bsky.social
