Please try to tell your faves you enjoy their work. A lot of people are bold enough to be openly negative or mean while positive people react quietly. Lurking is ofc okay but I think it’s good to try and be openly encouraging from time to time🥹❤️
Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Nothing annoys me more than just flat out being unable to write certain archetypes of characters. It feels so demoralizing to just completely hit a wall and have nothing I write feel like it "fits" the character

I think "fake it til' you make it" is genuinely a great bit of advice but people (understandably!) think it means "lie until you've duped everyone" when in reality it's much more "act like you belong here because you actually do and you need to get over yourself"

So hey fair warning bc its not in the original post, if you do this all your categories are fucking gone and you can only get them back by re-enabling it shortly after turning it off, far as I know if you dismiss the notification thats it.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
