Tryna figure out what fantasy-ish skirmish wargame I wanna play. I started reading the Mordheim rulebook yesterday, looked at Turnip28 (disqualified for needing too many models ~30), and I'm checking out Trench Crusade right now. Any recommendations?

I'm going to see the Critical Role Jester/Fjord marriage episode with my Dad! He's gonna take me! I was so stressed about trying to find a carpool and bring alone. My brother, who watched all of C2, won't be able to come. My Dad is brand new to C2, so spoilers, but he's coming anyway :))

I sleep too much lately, I know my boyfriend will be miffed when he realizes what time it is. But I got to sleep and cuddled all day long with my baby. I don't get to cuddle all through the night super often. So this was really nice. I love him

I got into Emperor's Children for Horus Heresy because I loved their lore/paint scheme. I decided to keep the same army in 40k 10e, and bought the new box. But I just don't enjoy how they play in 10e. I'm a little disappointed because now I have really cool decorations, but not game pieces.

How do you reconcile yourself to the idea that you've spent a really long time and a great deal of money on an army you enjoy flavor-wise, paint-wise, etc. but just don't like their on-the-board 40k rules/play style?
