Lived in Tonbridge (just down the road from Tunbridge Wells) for just over a year in 1987/88. One day while in Tunbridge Wells I passed Ronnie Corbett in the street. Knew immediately it was him because, yes, he was that short!

Lord, there's a huge variance there. For me, I'm just comparing what I paid for petrol for an efficient standard vehicle, vs what I paid after I switched to a hybrid. There was definitely a significant saving. But I wasn't comparing the same model ICE vs hybrid

Goodness. It's a bit of a brain twister that one as it doesn't make immediate sense. As the owner of an ordinary hybrid, I know that I used a LOT less petrol, so you'd just assume PHEVs would be the same.

I would say, unfortunately, it will be harder to get meaningful movement on environmental challenges with this council than the last. We're going to have to work strategically and prioritise issues we can get some consensus on.
