For most of my life I've drawn/painted trad but at some point I switched to digital out of convenience/speed and it totally changed my way of work. But I never got used to sketch digitally, I need to feel the pencil and paper haha

You should just go for it and see where it gets you :)

Yep, sketch on paper, then paint digitally. Occasionally I paint with acrylics and other traditional tools, but that's more of treat than anything else these days.

That’s how I mostly see (and enjoy) MTG now. I love to find new weird ways to play Magic and building/playing cubes is the most satisfying experience ever (too bad I rarely have enough people to play my cubes 😢)
