Thinking about saving up for an e-bike, since the bike I got a decade ago in Colorado is on its last legs. If anyone watching me has ever had one of these and has any advice, feel free. These things are 💰💰💰 and I don't want to invest in one haphazardly

You don't have to like every single thing a creator makes. You don't have to love the B-sides. But creators must still be allowed to make them, to misstep, to go on hiatus, to be human. The real gift isn't perfect; it's just real, and you only understand it with time.

Yes, sometimes the stars align and you get the sequel, the reunion, the whatever. But just as often it doesn't happen for a myriad of reasons, or it happens but it sucks, or it comes an arbitrary number of years "too late," etc. If you really like the creator, then be patient with them.

What creators have to say will inevitably evolve with time, and it usually doesn't follow the extrapolated direction fans imagine, because imagination often doesn't take into account the twists and turns and losses reality tends to inflict.

One of the worst things fans can do to creators is make them play the same song over and over again. It's great that you got into them because you like their hits, but please keep in mind that they're still people who must be allowed to grow and change.
