The Trump Administration is welcome to keep the government open….he and his party have a majority in the House and Senate.

Having all the power in government and blaming your inept ability to govern on the minority party is lazy and uninspiring.

Federal employees across the government reported seeing similar messages. Experts say the messages may violate ethics laws meant to keep partisan politics out of day-to-day governing.

The shooting targeting CDC, which resulted in the death of a police officer was horrific, and it was completely preventable. Cuts to CDC programs that reduce gun violence and support mental health, and anti-science rhetoric from political appointees set the stage for this senseless act of violence. Something needs to change.

Not sure how we feel about it. We were NOT impressed or inspired by her nomination hearing.

Will she stand up to RFK Jr’s dismantling of public health? We fear she might be compliant & erode decades of public health progress.

NEW: per multiple sources, apparently there may be punishment/retaliation coming for EPA employees who signed the Declaration of Dissent this week. People are starting to get letters putting them on administrative leave, seems like potentially targeted at those who signed with their names.

Abby Tighe was a federal servant in the division of overdose prevention at CDC. Her day-to-day job was working closely with local organizations to develop programs and initiatives for kids and teens, in order to keep them from smoking, drinking and using other drugs and substances.
