The democrats better come up with some superb messaging for this caving. Maybe something like “we did this to help our constituents until we can overturn the republican bill with a majority next year.”

Here’s a thought. Now that they have the summer off, why don’t all the democrats in Congress rent a couple of buses and drive down to the Florida concentration camp and make some sort of attempt at a “statement.” Or are they too comfortable in their air conditioned beach and mountain homes?
