And the air, which he had thought to be cool and fresh, was a lie. The scent of damp earth was the smell of the damp, stony floor, and the metallic tang was not old blood, but fresh. He had escaped into a shared prison, a ghost among others, all of them trapped.

My plan was to photograph the moon rise, from behind the hills, but it was completely clouded, and now that the moon is high up, there's not even clouds to work something interesting.
