nfl, chiefs, memes, etc

patrick mahomes is the best football player of all time. probably thinking about snoop minnis #chiefskingdom

it’s crazy.

I never thought the Chiefs. MY CHIEFS. would make a Super Bowl EVER.

And they’ve made five. And they’re trying to win their third in a row.

Soak it up KC. enjoy it. Never going to be better than this.
Last thought for tonight is also around “my guys” and focused on Dave Toub’s TERRIBLE special teams this year. Enough of the Cochrane, Josh Williams, Edwards, etc. Group has not gotten it done this year and needs to be heavily turned over.
Veach has got to take some of “my guys” away from Spags and Andy the same way he did in 2021.

Remember Hitchens, Niemann, Sorenson, and Fenton weighing that defense down?

Is that all that different from Nnadi, Conner, Edwards, Omenihu, and Danna right now?
Kansas City needs new blood, fresh ideas, new wrinkles.

Some of the decisions they’ve made to continue to bring back “their guys” who “know what we’re doing” have cost them MAJORLY this year.

Nnadi. Clyde. Danna extension. Bolton extension. Gray extension. Caliendo.

I think KC is pretty well positioned to take best player available in round 1 this spring.

Prioritize defensive line talent, man coverage beaters, defensive playmakers
remember 2022 KC trading Hill, focusing fully on Kelce and coming back with a bargain bin at RB/WR and somehow being the most explosive offense in football?

That is the type of re-orientation they MUST have if they want to compete for Super Bowls in 2026 and beyond.

For what it is worth, I think this current group is similar to 2021 (sans Hill, obviously).

They have the building blocks in place if they’re willing to look hard at what they’re doing and modernize.

This OL (when healthy) has four good to excellent starting blocks.

agree - did a big thread on this last week

Org needs to take their medicine and go through a 2021 esque reset.

And I am not confident their are voices in that offensive playcalling room at this time that will be willing to take that hard of a look at themselves and reorient as necessary
It's best this team miss the playoffs. They need a break, and a major retooling.

Organization has failed Patrick this season. No need to sugar coat this, that is what you are watching
December 8, 2025 at 4:22 AM
Slot Conner looking like burnt toast and extremely lucky Stroud missed on that 3&12.

One more shot for Pat to drag this team down the field

Lotta guys not going to be able to make eye contact with 15 in the locker room tonight.

He is spoonfeeding opportunities under incredibly challenging circumstances and they are not coming through
December 8, 2025 at 4:14 AM
Tears in my eyes watching that Esa Pole / Danielle Hunter clip

Chiefs might have something!!!!
December 8, 2025 at 3:57 AM
wondering if any former chiefs players will commentate over this incredible tackle this week on a podcast no one listens to
Now THAT is a proper tackle.
December 8, 2025 at 3:55 AM
just cannot fathom why Nohl Williams wouldn’t be playing all the time from here on out.

Tough, physical, athletic, agressive tackler

Stepping up big time with McDuffie hurt

The only reason this score isn't a disaster for KC yet is how well he's playing.
December 8, 2025 at 3:20 AM
why would you do this when you can go for 2.5 ypc out of the gun
It’s crazy how good the Chiefs can be running under center when they actually choose to do it
December 8, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Special teams penalty, excellent
Mike Edwards looks like a practice squad guy who’s been cut by several teams on this drive. Step slow, missing multiple tackles.
December 8, 2025 at 3:18 AM
not to be insensitive but I don’t think the other guy would be playing as well as Esa Pole is right now

Haven’t noticed him one bit (complimentary)

……..life?
December 8, 2025 at 3:12 AM
15 & 95 only guys showing any life whatsoever.

95 unblockable right now
December 8, 2025 at 3:04 AM
Three yards a carry for Pacheco/Hunt in the first half.

Even with this offensive line, it is inexcusable not to turn this offense into 2016 Texas Tech from a scheme perspective in the second half. Have to spread out this defense and give Mahomes a chance against the HOU DEs/blitz
December 8, 2025 at 2:50 AM
It’s actually baffling that 95 is still this good and this group is somehow still this diabolically bad
Another third and long conversion.

This defensive line is a plague

why is Caliendo out there?

Is Nourzad dead? I’m so confused.

It cannot possibly be worse than this.
December 8, 2025 at 2:41 AM
Gray - 2 targets, 2 drops.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT NOAH
Where does Veach look next?

Easy calls:
Taylor -7M dead money, +20M cap savings
Danna -2M, +9M

Post 15 restructure and these two moves, KC would be at ~20M in space.

Further Discussions for more room:
Tranquill -1.5M, +6M
Gray -2M, +6M
KC is currently $43M over the cap with just 36 players on 2026’s roster

Good news, there’s flexibility there to restructure: Mahomes (44M of his current 78M cap hit) & Jones (23M of his current 45M cap hit)

You assume Mahomes restructure is almost guaranteed, that’s when the hard convo kicks in..

Patrick is out of his damn mind right now.

Absolutely insane throws to Juju and Worthy
