Skawo made a video doing a deep dive into the #64DD code of Zelda Ocarina of Time and how it could be used by the original devs.
Been helping Skawo a slight bit about that but he's still way way more knowledgeable about OoT's code than I do.

Let’s say a film scan comes out unrestored. It’s not in perfect shape, & towards the beginning there’s a large amount of dirt, debris, even damage throughout. As long as it’s preserved in higher quality than before, how do you feel when watching? Does it bother you? Do you feel it adds to the charm?
