If Open Science is so great, why doesn't everyone do it?
Part of the reason is that the benefits are common, but the work is individual.

Let's concentrate on the benefits of OS activities to the scientists , instead of presenting it as a virtue, or a requirement.

Today at @odissei.bsky.social conference in Utrecht. Hoping to find good vocabularies to recommend to @tudelftlibrary.bsky.social and @unileiden.bsky.social researchers. Found already also extremely interesting studies on all areas of social sciences.

Continuing the #openscienceweek with @unileiden.bsky.social Medical Centre "Research Data Day". Even though the data interoperability and management are by necessity more advanced in the medical sector, many of the same issues remain as everywhere #toomanystandards #toomanysystems

Starting the #OpenScience week by first learning about textual transcription of hand written letters in @unileiden.bsky.social CDS. (AI would have difficulty with my handwriting!)

Now learning about reproducibility using code notebooks in @tudelftlibrary.bsky.social

This is a very interesting approach for in house hands on support for research projects. Not everyone needs to become RDM or workflow expert, provided as direct service!
