me, Ariana, dressed as Gog Agog from K6BD for halloween (specifically an alt outfit where she is dressed as a sort of talk show host in an argyle sweater and a green suit). i’m emulating a funny panel from WHEEL SMASHING LORD 3-77 in which Gog shoots another iteration of herself dead just outside the panel border. in jest, of course!!

it’s so so cool to have insurance through your really stable employer until all of a sudden your physician and your dentist both call you up saying “yeah hi sorry but your insurance refused to pay us for the stuff they said they’d cover” and then you just have to pay for it yourself. so cool.

ended my shitty day by spilling water everywhere while tending the plants, then snapping the healthiest, thickest stem off the best of my three potted Tradescantia pallida. meanwhile the rest of the stems on the same plant are losing leaves for seemingly no reason. great 🫠

figured i’d update: this is the newest leaf that was produced from the previous leaf’s damaged petiole!! i was honestly shocked it was able to grow at all, especially in the midst of my war on thrips. the leaf with the bent/broken petiole had to go though. overall, not the worst outcome!!

a really janky monstera deliciosa leaf that’s only about two-thirds of a full leaf. it has unseemly creases on the leaf lamina and some brown along the midrib where the rest of the leaf’s foliage is missing due to prior damage.
