Live at #ArgoCon Atlanta, Kostis and Luke are diving into CD Events.

Application delivery goes beyond CI/CD — use CD Events to connect specialized tools through a shared model.

We’d love your feedback on our proposal to bring CD Events into Argo CD and help shape the ecosystem!

Currently live at #ArgoCon, Leonardo Luz Almeida and Peter Jiang are unpacking one of the biggest recent changes in Argo CD — the move to Server-Side Diff.

This new feature represents a major architectural shift: it leverages Kubernetes Server-Side Apply to move diff computation away from Argo CD.
November 10, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Fun Fact: Argo CD doesn’t use kubectl diff 🤔.

Instead, it relies on its own internal diffing library to detect differences between your desired and live states.

At #ArgoCon Atlanta, Gerald Nunn and Andrew Block explored exactly how this works in their talk, “What the Diff?”
