You know, the more honest I've been about my work by stepping into uncomfortable territory and allowing myself to use art for more than "tasteful" appeal, the more I've been able to cope with my own pain. Regardless of OC work or fanart. In many ways, it's how I practice mindfulness.

I'm gonna try to give One Piece a real shot mostly so I can get to the point where I can draw fanart for friends here and sometimes send a drawing to my sister. I'm not sure how many friends/moots are into it on here though

Happy to spend time with my mom for the holiday. She's in much lighter spirits this year. Cancer stuff seems to be in the clear for her now and I'm so proud of all her hard work. She'll be cooking, too, so I'll get to have my favorite food made by her.

Okay sorry, I needed a break. Since my last deactivation my partner gifted me a new laptop to replace the one ive been using for years with a ruined screen so ive been spending time trying to get things transferred over. Definitely want to get to drawing on it.
