I've been having so much fun writing FFXIV oneshots as I play. I've reached Heavensward, and I'm getting fed with my favourite character content. #wipwednesday

There is as much faith in them as he has held for her. Her voice is steady and soft when she speaks, not an order but encouragement. A tease, if one were to look carefully, hope wrapped up in words he should respond to more than any that would highlight his wounds. “On your feet, gladiator. This fight is not over.” His eyes light up, his lips curl up at the corners slightly.

Their paths diverged, but that didn't change the fact that she'd been ready to be his wife once.
