Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS), the department which oversees IEPs for Disabled children & makes sure those kids get the services they need - as well as federal funding for programs like voc rehab went from 4k to 1.4k since March. This isn't good!!

Turns out voc rehab already is impacted bc they are in the same office as SED 🙃 Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) laid off 466 people which impacts funding for Disabled ppl in all levels of education & training that use federal funds. Hahahaha I have one semester left 😭

I've been nervous abt the Dept of Edu since he was declared the winner last yr. He just used the shutdown to decimate the division that supports kids with IEPs. How much longer before voc rehab goes? That's how I go to school 😐 First health insurance now this

When I was younger I very much believed that really big families were totally fine. Now I can see there's no way to be the support that child needs on so many levels if there's more then like 2-3 kids. Three might be pushing it, tbh.

I've seen some companies pop up whose sole goal is to "help" med students get publications for residency apps and it's usually just taking money from them to add them to papers. Could be something like that

We've become shockingly passive watching masked men tackle unarmed civilians, throw them into unmarked vehicles and just drive off with them. A lot of those ppl still haven't been located by family and friends. And this is normal? Like covid is now normal? Fuck this society sucks
