"Behind the scenes, MCP uses JSON-RPC, which, by definition, exposes operations, not resources or data like other API styles do. Since workflows are sequences of operations, it makes total sense to use MCP tools inside them. Is that already possible?"

I separate API usage into internal, 1st-party, and 3rd-party APIs because it emphasizes the two most important aspects 1) control, 2) firewall perimeter. However 75% of people I share this with struggle with word 1st-party, which I find interesting because they are fine with 3rd-party.
