Yes, it looks like it might be, but it was read out of the ideas box as free and we’re sticking with that, but given the playfulness of sessions we’ll probably go with a reading of tree too 😊

Scot Gov should ban the sale of highly invasive Rhododendron ponticum (RP). It chokes our native woodlands & is one of the main threats to #ScotlandsRainforest. As well as bringing RP into line with other invasive non-native plants, Scot Gov should deliver & fund an INNS eradication plan. 🧵2/2

Show highlight was the reaction (gasp-giggle) of all the high school students who took up most of the the theatre at the onstage kiss. Do recommend sharing young people having formative theatre experiences, such raw feeling and delight

Have been flat out at home with a cold for the last week. But after finding enough energy for Playtime last night, I finally feel up for some work. Until it took me over half an hour to find words that actually make sense to write a 5 line informal email.

It was thought provoking. To include your thought: In our discussion we distinguished admiration from idolising, and compared to role-models, so we might also have distinguished your revere of different people over time, from idolising too. Or thought it needed a further quality to count. 😊

Great but unusual session where we agreed! on a working definition of idol as someone/thing with ideal virtue, deified, object of worship, concluding we should not idolise people but on our definition & examples we might still be doing so without realising. Via lots of interesting disagreements 😊

We have this photograph of the laying of tramlines, or possibly just the resurfacing of a road. Any ideas of where this might be? There is not date on the image but could be 1910s or 1920s.
