I’m looking forward to it, I drive buses for work and Grandfather drove Routemasters when he worked for London Transport in the good old days, no pressure eh? I will put some pucs up as I get on with it

cheers mate, will get some better pics shortly, once I've decided wheels up or down 😀

OK from one extreme to the other, the next #histscalemodels build has been liberated from the stash, I hate to think how long this will take, I will post pics as I go 🤣

PaddingtonSki pretty much done, not closed wheel wells yet as uncertain how it will be presented.

TBH mate, it is what you are comfortable with that matters I'm on OoB with this last couple to refresh skills the 1/24 scale London Bus in the stash is a different matter, PE, scratch build bits etc planned. If I did a tank or other armour I would be OoB as I wouldn't have a clue where to start

Getting there, Soviet style, slowly and with many issues fragile parts, flaking paint but hey all good fun 😆

Almost nothing aftermarket, mind, it is a slightly odd scale at 1/100,so it’s scratch build or OoB. I’m building it straight out of the box.

It’s a 1973 ish molding, very simple, no interior, good but sparse panel detail, the pics of the real thing doesn’t have a lot either, went together pretty well, only real filling at wing roots. Very comparable to more modern kits

Paddingtonski has now had top coat, time to cure and then to make it look scabby and used

TU95 Bear, slightly odd nose, not many pics about of it configured like this, possibly a very early Bear B, before a more bulbous nose was added below the screen

Not too bad from a distance, needs another coat, and then it’s detailing time
