It's really disheartening to look at my own job and see reality-disconnected C-level asshats undermining an important part of the customer experience — that only works BECAUSE of the human element — by demanding AI be shoved into it "to save time".

One cool thing about accessing my self-hosted services (hosted in the UK) from Brazil is that I can definitely "feel" the distance, the response times are noticeably higher compared to accessing it from anywhere in the UK.

Airline put me in the shittiest seat possible for my flight to Brazil, but I refuse to give them even a penny more to change my seat (which costs ~£30). This used to be free during check-in.

Oh yeah, today we bought a Japanese-style robo shitter contraption (it's actually from a Korean brand) from Costco for super cheap (compared to what these normally cost).
Can't wait to never have to look at a toilet paper roll ever again.
