Many reasons, and "accounts" would be one of them:
- Lack of Slack Connect which people use
- Partnered with company which used Slack already
- Bombardment with silly gaming stuff (would be nice to turn that off)
- Plans/Payments just confusing - Nitro?! Dreadful.
But Slack is crap for chat.

Moving my company from @discord.com to Slack has been the biggest downgrade imaginable. Slow, buggy, and lacking basic features like replies or a decent thread management system. Hate it.

I do vaguely remember a reference to obesity regarding the size of a site's runtime payload, but I can see how given the naming, that it could be deemed offensive.

When reducing dependencies in Svelte projects, I was really surprised how many dependencies the typical glob library has and ended up switching most of the JS ecosystem to tinyglobby once it became available. With one final PR pending, the Svelte ecosystem is nearly free of extra glob dependencies!
tinyglobby is a great success, and has shown us how much we can improve perf for everyone. here's some of the story!
