Slapping tariffs on longtime allies to extract territorial concessions crosses a dangerous line. Economic pain is being used as leverage in a geopolitical power play, and working people on both sides of the Atlantic would pay the price.

Trade policy is being turned into a pressure tactic. A proposed import tax on multiple European countries is tied to forcing talks over control of land that is not ours. This is not strength. It is coercion that risks destabilizing global partnerships.
