The heart is a button. Sanded off the back to let light through. Threaded USB-powered Christmas lights through a straw and hot glued to some foam for stability.

Sanding and re-spraying the Cosermart badge and pips (badge sanded but not sprayed yet). Original colour was too yellow and too plastic-shiny ironically the same as the lid of the paint I'm using.

The Plasti-Kote is the perfect satin-matte finish and not what it says on the tin(!)

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

I forgot that the sumo was on at the Royal Albert Hall. Well worth a watch if you're up in London.

In 2008 I spent most of a day watching tournaments, eating Chanko Nabe and drinking beer in the cheap seats at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. Arrived early to bag tickets and had a great day.
