First month on third treatment was a 4/10 simply because I only had 4 days of peace... I hope next month will be different 🤞

-HOWEVER! It is still important to share at least the symptoms. Many people do not know that sudden bleeding (of ANY kind) after menopause is often the only symptom of endometrial cancer. Pap smears only check for cervical cancer; there are no other early screening tests.

I say scary because of how the symptoms of gynecological cancers manifest: abnormal vaginal discharge & bleeding, sudden changes in urinary and digestive systems (ie bloating, sudden bowel mvmt changes, heartburn, frequent urination etc.). Yes, these can also be other gynecological disorders-

My local news station ran story after story about prostate cancer, but did absolutely nothing for any of the gynecological ones. Its beyond scary and its frustrating

Now that i think about it, it was both prostate cancer awareness month and gynecological cancer awareness month in September. While I heard much need and crucial information about prostate cancer, I heard absolutely nothing about gynecological cancers.

I'll need to have either an internship or do an independent study worh one of my profs to fulfill a gen ed requirement before I graduate and I wanted this workshop opportunity to count, but the hours are too little (even though they call it an internship in the emails 😅)

Anthro classes for next semester are sparse 😬 ive taken the majority of them already, but there's a new one called mortuary archaeology and it seems very cool. So I will be taking !
