If voters would give Democrats the majorities they need & not break up their trifectas every midterm, they'd be able to pass a real legislative agenda.

The last Democrat to win the majority of the white vote was LBJ in 1964.

It's a combination of things.
Democrats are less reliable voters than Republicans in the midterms, which breaks up trifectas & stops real work for the 2 years leading up to the presidential election.
Lack of pragmatism.
Purity BS, disinformation & groupthink results in voluntary disenfranchisement.

I just saw a video on Instagram by @deardean22.bsky.social who said that thes "both parties are the same" voices only want to keep people from voting and are targeting especially Black men. He also said that these voices are increasing now already preparing / targeting the midterms.
