Played Ratzia on 2025-11-27. The rat mobster re-theme of Ra is great fun! We keep pet rats, so my whole family was really into this. So cute and the kids picked up on the subtle mechanics right away. My wife won this time! boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/12...

RIP Tom Stoppard. I took a Tom Stoppard class at UNO when I was getting my masters in English and it was an unforgettable class. We read most of his plays and watched Shakespeare in Love, which he wrote, and which instantly became one of my top five movies of all time!

I am absolutely delighted that Middle and Old English are preferred language options on this intake form. Time to bust out that Chaucer and Beowulf knowledge and give the English major translators some contract interpreter work!
