Most of the time I make things with my mind - fictional worlds inhabited by fictional characters speaking made up words about made up feelings and dilemmas. But I also like to make things with my hands. Afterwards, if you can eat what you made… So much better! #pizzanight What do you like to make?

Urgent news: the Justice Department’s civil rights office refuses to investigate the killing of Renee Good by ICE agent Ross. This is a huge deal, since this is the specialized unit responsible for investigating and prosecuting law enforcement misconduct including excessive force.

They think we’ll stay silent.
They think we’ll look away.
They think we’ll let another mother die without a fight.
They’re wrong.
This weekend — we rise. We roar. We resist.

Writing a novel is like solving a #jigsawpuzzle. And not. Only one right way to assemble puzzle pieces. To discover the best way to tell a story you’ve got to figure out where to introduce this character, place this scene, reveal that clue…so many possibilities. #writinglife #fiction #YAFiction

When I need a break from writing and/or political news, I hike. When the weather says “Not today, friend” I bake. Thank you to The Practical Kitchen for this recipe: black cocoa crinkle cookies. #BakingLove #Christmascookies

Thanks to the generosity of @pschnorbus.bsky.social I have several Audible codes for the audiobook edition of "The Little Things That Kill: A Teen Friendship Afterlife Apology Tour". The catch, you need an account for the German Audible website to redeem (though the audiobook is in English).

New book cover for my novel “The Little Things That Kill: A YA #ParanormalMystery”. Why a new cover? The original (which I love) reads MG rather than YA. I’m also thrilled to announce my novel is a #BestBooksof2025 (by #KirkusReviews). What an honor!
