TRANS ACTIVISTS: 1970

In 1970, in response to transgender people being excluded from other gay organizations, Sylvia Rivera, Marsha P. Johnson and others formed the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (S.T.A.R.).

They fought for us then. Never forget as we continue the fight today!
