Watching the meeting shut down because of lost quorum was disheartening and contrary to the commitment we owe our residents as elected officials.

Consultants were scheduled to attend, resulting in costs for work that could not be shared. This decision wasted public money and was a missed opportunity for transparency.

As Mayor of the Town of Caledon, I am very disappointed in the decision made by a few Members of Council to abandon a meeting, causing loss of quorum.

These meetings give the public a chance to hear important discussions, have their voices heard, and engage in the democratic process.

As Mayor, I’m incredibly proud to see our community honour the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇨🇦

These crosswalks serve as daily reminders of courage, service, and the importance of never forgetting those who stood for Canada.

Lest we forget. ❤️
