Another aspect is also that most do not even know how to approach a woman or start a conversation.
So in their eyes it's just so much easier to stay alone. Which is something they know works and they can find happiness in. And that is enough!
Most have only time for work and hobbies and do not want the small and precious time for themselves to vanish completely.
Of course most of their time is spent working.
#gottawork #gottamakethatmoneymakepurse
But they really really value the personal freedom they get once work is finished.
Due to outmoded gender norms and gender inequality everyone is suffering under the patriarchy. Even men.😲
The article mentioned above describes how men have to bear the pressure of doing most of the work and thus having a pressuring lifestyle where there is no further time for another human being.
They the money they earn to actually spend on themselves. What I found interesting was the fact that men are scared of losing control over their income in a marriage while women list "financial security as one of the benefits of getting married.”
#moneymoneymoney
The article tries to list some of the reasons why these men avoid marriages and instead stay alone.
The two most prominent factor seem to be money and time. The average income is declining and many have concerns about their future.

Why Japanese men are choosing the single life | Flash Pack
Why are more and more men in Japan choosing to stay single? We examine the rise of Japan's unattached bachelors, aka "herbivore men".
www.flashpack.com
Despite being blamed for the low birthrate, some people are not worried at all like Mr. Arakawa in the article "Andrew Dickens meets Japan’s ‘herbivore men’ to find out why they’re saying “I don’t”" from the website FlashPack who says that this has happened before and resulted in great creations.
There has been a rapid decline in marriages in Japan. The gender responsible for that are actually men and not women. These men, who much rather prefer their single lives are called 'herbivores' and the reasons for them to stay single are plentiful.

Thus, I will continue to drink coffee as long as I am in this country because if not in South Korea, where can you enjoy such consumption of cheap and plentiful coffee.
#coffeconsumption #iwillspendalotofmoneyonCoffee
This number in South Korea however is also influenced by the fact that the cafés here are a space of social gathering.
THE place to be where you can spend time with friends and catch up on what is happening in their lifes.

The article even says that most Koreans think that that price is way too high!!!
Needless to say, my coffee consumption took off. I am now spending way too much time in cute cafés around the university, which is another thing that I am not used to.

To be able to get a cup of coffe for less than four euros is a concept I was previously unfamiliar with.
An article I found says that an Americano costs around an average of 3 000 Won in South Korea which is less than half of what I am used to.

In South Korea's Coffee Wars, Chains Face Backlash Over Rising Prices - Be Korea-savvy
SEOUL, Nov. 11 (Korea Bizwire) – In South Korea’s fiercely competitive coffee market, where a “coffee war” is in full …

Over the next days we would always! stop by a café to get something to drink and I would always order a softdrink or something similar. One time I was so unbelievably tired that I decided to just get a real coffee instead. This decision was also influenced by the price of an Americano.

I will start this thread by saying that I never drink coffee at home. I have tried it once and hated it. I do not enjoy the taste and also never felt the effects of the caffeine.
This changed however after arriving in Korea.
The first thing we did with our friends was go to a café.

So to have parents dressing their children in THE most revealing clothes and making them pose in ways that even adults cringe at is very irresponsible and ignorant of any and all consequences this could have.
Especially because those girls are still too young to be aware of the repercussions.
There is an influencer that I follow that posts videos of her home life and who ensures that the faces of her children are protected. The videos are still wholesome and cute. And the children are being in no way sexualised!

Not to mention the very real danger of child predators online!!!
I am of the opinion that the face of your child has no place on the Internet.
#articlebyZilanQian
My question now is how some parents can even consider doing this to their child. They argue with 'freedom of choice' and being able to wear what you want but this is about so much more. It is undeniably hurting the kids in so many ways: medically, socially, mentally, etc.
We are talking about literal children, four years old or younger, judging from the photos!
It is also stated in the article that the posing and dressing can have negative medical consequences in the future going as far as influencing muscle development due to wearing high heels.

This is not just my opinion but also expressivley mentioned in the article linked above. It describes how these young girls are so influenced by their parents dressing them in revealing clothes and making them pose in them that they start to adopt the views and want to dress 'sexy' themselves.
However, to start this pressure on especially young girls this early is still too much. Not to forget that this #MilkySpicy trend does not just introduce these girls to the societal pressure they will face as soon as they grow up but rather that it forces it upon them immediately.
Having learned the context of how East Asian countries - especially Korea - view cosmetic surgeries I look at the way people regard beauty pressure in a different way now. It is not seen as a product of 'vanity' or a desire to look better than other people but as a way to be socially accepted.
The boycotting, of course, also didnt help with work being economically lucrative for Xiao Zhan.

In the article it is mentioned that they reported the fanfiction because "they believe that a mainstream
cis-heteronormative public image would be more economically lucrative for Xiao". In the end the incident made sure that his public image would forever be tainted.
