"Nous voudrions porter la voix des organisations se battant pour la paix : B’Tselem, Standing Together, Breaking the Silence, de Zehava Galon, Dov Khenin, Michael Sfard, de Vivian Silver".

Freedom of the hostages is the first step to get out of intellectual, political and emotional captivities we are all in.
(Thinking about the title by Czeslaw Milosz, "The Captive Mind", "Zniewolony umysl").

Hope (for saved hostages) and despair (for the destroyed Gaza). This morning, between Palestine and Israel.

There was a memorial space for the children of Gaza located on Yefet Street across from Hajj Kahil, in Tel Aviv. The Municipality decided to take it down, while 80% of the Arab families in Jaffa have family in Gaza.
@standing-together.bsky.social is planning to reconstruct this space tomorrow.

"Now, the #PTSD is routinely featured on morning news shows and in mainstream cultural events.

“There is no household in Israel without this thing … this thing that grows in darkness, in shame, in silence,” said Udi Kagan, (אודי כגן) in a stand-up monologue."

PTSD and suicides spike among Israeli troops amid devastation of Gaza war
Returning soldiers are confronting PTSD in record numbers, mental health professional say, and the army is scrambling to address an issue once taboo in Israel.

... and yet, 32% of American Jews think that Netanyahu's leadership is great. Well. Maybe the gap is not widening enough after all.

The split between the US diaspora and Israel seems to be widening (it's close to obvious, but still, interesting numbers from Washington Post).

Trump: "we are close" to a peace deal in Gaza, and said he'll push to finalize it in the next few days.
"I said, 'Bibi, this is your chance for victory.' He was fine with it," Trump said. "He's got to be fine with it. He has no choice. With me, you got to be fine."

The only thing I believe in current politics is the consistency of Trump’s hatred for Obama. So I do believe that he is doing his best to stop this war and get this freaking Nobel Prize.
(I am less confident about Hamas' consistency though, but we will see)

Of course everyone (around me) to whom I am showing this is extatic, so I needed to show that there might be some limitation :)
But it is a really wonderful job on the question. A big implicit criticism of the Israeli, French and English polls framed to show that Palestine is not accepted as a state

Nice work on the questions by the Alliance for Middle East Peace, even if the sample is too small (less than 500 people). legrandcontinent.eu/fr/2025/09/2...

Both Likud and the Democratic Party (Yair Golan) gain mandates, as compared to the last week. Golan is at 12 mandates.
Mindblowing : Ganz (Blue and White) is at 2,9% and Smotrich at 2,5%, neither is entering the Knesset today.
