Also I hate to speak up for criminals, whom I despise, but I used to teach them in a prison and sometimes they really want to change their lives and poverty is a big driver for crime. Plus sometimes police officers are corrupt &, or, incompetent & actually set people up for violence against them etc

Quite often I get really excited about researching something and then end up realising I have to go to Scotland to access such and such. My whole life is filled with extreme frustration about not being able to access documents.

I’ve always argued that too big a majority is bad for accountability. People questioned it, but it has now been shown. No amount of blokey ‘you don’t matter’ stops actual corruption. Ps we only matter at elections, but then we really matter.

There’s been a couple of amazing things for victim survivors this week. In Victoria, (best state in Australia), we had the first state in the nation to legislate a treaty with its Indigenous people. We had a Restricting Non-disclosure Agreements (Sexual Harassment at Work) bill introduced.
