3D printing is basically a second hobby. It takes a lot of effort to test and dial in settings to get it all working right. I've got friends with fully 3D printed armies, but a lot of work went into that.

Also they just suck to paint a lot of the time. The texture is not good.

This stuff is really common in phones now unfortunately. On android phones from a couple years ago, if it thought you were taking a picture of the moon, it straight up replaced the moon in your photo with a higher res image.
