As we wind down 2024, I'm thinking deeply about DEI priorities for 2025.

Here's something that might surprise you - I'm actually asking schools to resist "impactful" DEI initiatives.

Instead, I'm advocating for something more powerful: influential DEI initiatives. These are the ones that stick, that compound over time, that become part of your school's DNA.

I'm even suggesting we move away from "inspirational" ones like an inspiring keynote on equity in schools (and that comes from someone who is a big fan of delivering an inspiring keynote)

📚 Exciting news! We're thrilled to be working with @collegeofteaching.bsky.social & @Chiltern Learning Trust as part of @Mission44’s Diversity in Education Fund. Our consortium will be developing anti- racist practices in teacher training to pave the way for a more representative teaching workforce.
