Overnight rain gradually filling the Flashes at #uptonwarren brought in 42 Teal, 17 Shoveler, a Water Rail & 56 Lapwing. Also 5 Curlew, Common Gull 2w, Stonechat pr, Mistle Thrush, Redwings, Fieldfare, Mipits & Skylarks plus 9 Little Egret on the Sailing Pool. #WorcsBirds
A Jack Snipe from the East hide was the main highlight at #uptonwarren Moors Pool this morning. 8 Snipe, 5 Curlew, 60+ Lapwing, 2 Wigeon, 48 Teal, Red Kite, Stonechat, many flocks of Redwing & Fieldfare over plus 3 Otters were the other highlights. #WorcsBirds
A 2nd Rock Pipit in 2 days fed alone on the east shore at #uptonwarren this morning.

A Common Gull, 5 Curlew, 12 Redpoll, 2 Stonechat, 2 Swallow, Peregrine and a Redwing perched atop a bush were also noted.

A Glossy Ibis, found at #uptonwarren Moors Pool (Paul E), was last seen flying past the masts at the Flashes, where the first Rock Pipit of the year was found (Dave J) with c25 Mipits in front of the Avocet hide. Also Common Gull, fly-through Dunlin, 2 Redwing over, Redpolls over. #WorcsBirds

The PF Goose came in with Greylags to the Moors Pool at #uptonwarren early on and stayed there all morning. Also GWE, Little Egret, 4 Curlew, 2 Snipe, 60 Lapwing, 30 Teal, 18 Shoveler, 15 Teal, 48 Coot, 16 L Grebe, GC Grebe, Stonechat pr, Grey Wagtail, a few Skylark & Mipit over. #WorcsBirds

A Pink-footed Goose found by @phil9.bsky.social on the Sailing Pool at #uptonwarren late morning was a year tick for the reserve. A Great White Egret, 4 Little Egret, Dunlin, 5 Snipe, 71 Lapwing, 5 Wigeon, male Stonechat & Reed Warbler were at the Moors Pool earlier. #WorcsBirds
11 Wigeon at #uptonwarren Moors Pool this morning (9 seen flying in to join the 2 already there), Snipe, 67 Lapwing, Otter. 5 Curlew dropped in at midday at a still very quiet and barren Flashes. Good numbers of Swallows flying south still. #WorcsBirds
A Ruff flew through the Moors Pool at #uptonwarren this morning but didn't land. Also Green Sand, 3 Snipe, Curlew over (as per Steve Myatt), 2 Wigeon and a male Stonechat in front of the Jacobs hide. #WorcsBirds
10 Terns of differing ages caused some excitement as they flew into #uptonwarren Moors Pool this morning. On landing they were all id'd as Common Terns. Also 3 Snipe, Common Sand, c60 Lapwing, 2 Wigeon, 17 Teal, 13 Gadwall, 5 Shoveler, 2 Little Egret. #WorcsBirds

This Wood Sand was at #uptonwarren Moors Pool briefly this morning (not seen since 0830). The Garganey was still about but the Little Stint, which had been on site for 7 days, appears to have flown. Also 2 Snipe, Common Sand, 5 Curlew, 45 Lapwing, 3 Mipit, 2 Otter. #WorcsBirds

3 species of Egret at #uptonwarren Moors Pool this morning. A Cattle Egret briefly early morning found by @birdergladys.bsky.social, 5 Little Egret & a GWE, which dropped in at noon. Also juv LRP, 4 Snipe, 3 Green Sands, 2 Common Sands, juv Yellow Wagtail, Hobby. #WorcsBirds
Also 2 Hobby appeared when the sun came out hunting dragonflies, Peregrine, 4 Ravens. A juv Marsh Harrier was reported later as per Steve Taylor. #uptonwarren #WorcsBirds
A Redshank heard from the East track early morning and 2 Grey Wagtail were #uptonwarren monthly ticks for me at the Moors Pool. Also 6 Snipe, 4 Green Sand, Common Sand, 10 Lapwing, Hobby, 2 Red Kite & 3 Otter. A Whinchat was reported as seen briefly near the East hide at 1130. #WorcsBirds
