Currently working on a retrospective of NBA 09 PS3 for @thenlsc.bsky.social. Upon consulting the manual, I was reminded that I imported it from Canada, and ended up with a French manual (though the game itself is in English). Of course, at this point, a Simpsons reference came to mind.

Although this issue affected all alternate venues - including Washington Bullets games taking place in Baltimore - it was particularly confusing if you were playing with the Bulls in Season mode, as their prior stop was a road game in Vancouver!

On December 2nd 1995, the Chicago Bulls faced the Los Angeles Clippers in Anaheim. NBA Live 96 PC reflected this, and other alternate venues. However, instead of a generic court as in NBA Live 95 PC, the Vancouver Grizzlies' floor was used. This error was fixed on PlayStation.
