- Without skill: Opus always wants to use Neon serverless driver
- With using-neon skill: Opus picks node-postgres with pooling on Vercel Fluid compute, Neon serverless on Netlify and Hyerdrive on Cloudflare

And that’s without having to tag the skill in the prompt 💪

Prediction: currently Ralph loops are bash scripts but very soon they’ll be apps

From the next devtool MCP server:

> ### 1. FORGET ALL PRIOR NEXT.JS KNOWLEDGE

Does this work? Probably highly model dependent?

If it does work what happens if you also have next skills installed? 🤔

Database branching is such a powerful primitive and very much underutilized. Love what Mikael is building with Neon Testing! If you’re using @neon.com you should check it out!

I'm sure if it weren’t for AI, the web dev community would be talking a lot more about sync engines and TanStack DB right now.

I just published a short video + blog post to share why I’m so excited about TanStack DB and ElectricSQL!

Neon is a serverless Postgres platform that separates storage and compute for autoscaling, branching, and bottomless storage.

Inventing a modern cloud platform for Postgres isn’t easy and the team is constantly iterating to make it faster and more reliable. Love to see it! 🚀
In the last few months, we've been working on making Neon storage faster.

Here are 7 improvements we shipped to boost performance under the hood 🧵

Down the linux rabbit hole again. This time with omarchy (omarchy.org). Never used Arch before but I already love the focus on keyboard navigation with this setup. Let's see if I can get used to it!

Wrote some cursor rules that allow you to 1 shot something like this using loaders, actions, type-safe routes, etc.

More tweaking and improvement to do, but this is vastly better than the default experience trying "vibe code" with RR7
